The Great Depression
The Great Depression was spread around the world in the 1930s and a few other nations picked it up in the early 1940s. The was no "one cause" to the Great Depression however there were many main factors to how the Great Depression began. During the early 1930s there were numerous bank failures and there were a number of stock markets that crashed which contributed to the beginning of the Great Depression. There wasn't also beliefs that companies were producing a lot more than the demanding amount which lead to bankruptcy of companies and stock market decline.

The Hobbit
The Hobbit was a very interesting book with many moments of suspense that kept me wondering what could happen next. The book overall was very enjoyable however I thought the end of the book had a tiny flaw. I did not liked how the main villain of the story, Smaug was not defeated or killed by Bilbo or the gang of Dwarves, however it was killed by a human archer named Bard. This was the the only complaint I had with the book because i really hoped Bilbo would have killed Smaug. The book was enjoyable by having a nice big battle at the end and I also like how there are many riddles that were in the story. It makes you try to solve it too and the riddles were quite interesting. I would give The hobbit a 9.5/10.
The main theme of the book was Heroism. The theme revolves around the main character Bilbo. It is about an average guy turning into a hero. I thought the theme was portrayed very well by having Bilbo show off his talents one by one as the story progressed and in the end Bilbo did felt like a hero.

The Island
In this picture, a man is singing in the back of the choir in the church. The choir is made of all women except for the man in the middle. The man is also drawn with horns and is singing a different from the rest of the choir. Everyone else in the choir is almost drawn in an identical way making the man stand out from the choir a lot. This picture is symbolizing that the man is a devil in comparison to angels singing in the choir. The author is telling that the man is very diverse from the rest and he is represented in the form of a devil. The picture also has everyone in the choir with identical movements excepted for the man who is doing unusual things from the rest, which tells that the man does not just look unusual from the others, but also his movements, actions and everything else is all singular from the others. The story in relation to the picture tells of the man being rejected from singing in the choir which shows deep prejudice in the man. In the eyes of the people from the island, the man is probably seen as a devil just like how the picture shows the man.

Character from the Hobbit
I really like the character Gandalf. He is so far in my novel the most powerful character. Gandalf is like the character who always saves the day and comes out at the most crucial times. He keeps readers wondering alot about his background, why is he helping the dwarves, and how come he has to leave. Gandalf keeps alot of mysteries to himself. Gandalf is the master of sorcery and weopenary. I really like the kind of character that is strong and powerful, Gandalf, from the beginning unlike like Bilbo who is weak and eventrually will become strong. Right now, in the story, Gandalf have to leave for an unknown reason, however I believe he'll come back right at the moment where Bilbo and the others are in deep trouble.

Reflection of the Hobbit.
I think The Hobbit is a pretty interesting book with detailed description of the charaters and the fantasy world. The Hobbit visualizes the their world very clearly with diffrerent races and places of the world. It has a nice them of turning Bilbo from some one who has never done anything big in his life into a hero that goes into adventures with dwarves and Gandalf. At the end of chapter four it left alot of suspence to what could happen to bilbo and it makes me want to read more.
